. I hope that you will consider the importance of the Constitution Party and what we are trying to do. In our time both the Democrat and Republican parties have moved away from the core values of America. The Constitution Party is trying to get us back to those values.
Seven Principles of the Constitution Party are:
For all human beings, from conception to natural death;
Freedom of conscience and actions for the self-governed individual;
One husband and one wife with their children as divinely instituted;
Each individual's right to own and steward personal property without government burden;
and Bill of Rights interpreted according to the actual intent of the Founding Fathers;
Everything not specifically delegated by the Constitution to the federal government, nor prohibited by the Constitution to the states, is reserved to the states or to the people;
American government committed to the protection of the borders, trade, and common defense of Americans, and not entangled in foreign alliances.

Last Saturday, Texas Governor Rick Perry unofficially launched his 2012 Presidential candidacy in Houston (in my opinion). Speculation is he will officially announce his intentions this weekend in South Carolina. If he does declare his candidacy, many election-watchers say Perry will become the GOP frontrunner, due to an extremely weak field of declared candidates. If Perry does declare his candidacy, everyone will know that the Houston event was staged for the purpose of launching his Presidential bid, rhetoric to the contrary notwithstanding.....More
We affirm the principles of inherent individual rights upon which these United States of America were founded:
That each individual is endowed by his Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are the rights to life, liberty, property and the pursuit of happiness;
That the freedom to own, use, exchange, control, protect, and freely dispose of property is a natural, necessary and inseparable extension of the individual's unalienable rights;
That the legitimate function of government is to secure these rights through the preservation of domestic tranquility, the maintenance of a strong national defense, and the promotion of equal justice for all;
That history makes clear that left unchecked, it is the nature of government to usurp the liberty of its citizens and eventually become a major violator of the people's rights; and
That, therefore, it is essential to bind government with the chains of the Constitution and carefully divide and jealously limit government powers to those assigned by the consent of the governed.
Quote from our Country's Founding Fathers
"What is the greatest source of security in a Republic?
Respect for the Constitution ... the sustaining energy of a free government."

Note from Constitution Party of Oklahoma: Oklahoma is the worst when it comes to having difficulty with free elections. We only have two choices, Republican or Democrat. It has been this way since 1974 when a law was passed making it very difficult to have any party other than the two favored parties. It is unjust especially since both parties have betrayed the very priciples that they once represented. The Constitution Party is the third largest party in America and does well in other states, but Oklahoma makes it hard to have a choice. We Need Oklahoma Volunteers: See what our possibilities are.
The CP is the third largest political party in terms of voter registration. There are 367,000 registered Constitution Party voters. (This number does not take into account the many states which do not tally voter registrations by party. In addition, thousands of voters registered with other parties have chosen to vote for Constitution Party candidates at the national, state and local levels.)
One quarter of all voters nation-wide are registered as independent or as members of a ¡®third party¡¯. Over the last 10 years this has been the largest growing segment of voter registrations. Some states¡¯ third party or independent registrations approach 1/3 of all registered voters.
Independent voters are playing a bigger role in national and local politics as disappointment with both the Republican and Democratic parties increases.
A Fox News poll showed 67% of Americans said they'd consider voting for an independent candidate. An earlier Rasmussen survey showed 58% said it would be good for the United States to have a "truly competitive" third party. Voters are now weighing their options, especially on the issue of immigration. According to Rasmussen, 35% of conservatives said they'd pick a third party candidate over a Republican.
